Stacey and I are researching multimodal resources for teaching reading and writing.  I am finding this research very interesting.  One area that we researching is how to encourage the various types of multimodal practices in the classroom.  The rest we will share in our presentation!

  1. Sounds very interesting Julie. I like the idea of a multigenre paper about multimodal learning ;)

  2. Ooo-I agree with Jen! Multi-modal teaching seems like such an important topic to address, especially considering the wide range of learners present in a typical classroom. You never know what will "click" with a particular student, so it's good to create as many connections as possible. Can't wait to see the results of your research!
